About

I’ve been actively doing ’social’ for a *long* time. I co-founded one of the first social media consultancies (rareface.com) in the UK and co-founded InfieldParking.com, a social networking site for NASCAR racing fans in commercial partnership with its most popular driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr in the US.

Prior to Rareface and Infieldparking, I was in charge of setting up the social networking department at iConcertina, an interactive media agency and founded 2Bmates.com a music social networking site in 2004.

I’m currently responsible for Sky Portal’s social media products & implementation. The Portal has over 1 billion monthly page impressions & many millions of unique visitors. I work closely with each site, providing on-going technology & strategy assessment within the context of the competitive landscape & Site needs.

In addition to my role at Sky, I launched The Times’ online community and have advised Star TV, Sky Italy, Fox TV ChannelsNews International. I’m currently advising Chelsea FC and British Forces Broadcasting Services.

In my spare time I’m a mentor, adviser to start ups and charities in Social Media: Cancer Research UKBullyingUK and Cofacio, etc.  Sky News columnist, founder of Mazi.TV (Featured Podcast on  iTunes UK for 5 weeks) and CozyTweetup.
